Assessing the impacts of selected options for regulating CO2 emissions from new passenger cars and vans after 2020, for the European Commission, DG Climate Action
The aim of the project was to provide the European Commission (DG Climate Action) with technical support in developing its impact assessment for the post-2020 policy framework for regulating CO2 emissions from new passenger cars and vans. The project covered different elements of the potential policy framework, and the modelling of the potential impacts of a range of options for each of them. The results of the analysis of different policy design criteria carried out in this project were to be used by the European Commission to support the Impact Assessment (IA) underlying its proposal for post2020 regulatory CO2 targets for cars and vans.
