Provision of Statistical Services, for EUROSTAT
The project intented to review the current Energy Statistics System in order to define the accrued needs arising from the liberalisation of the energy markets in the European Union.
Eurostat has to reconsider the settings for information collection about the electricity sector and design a new process to meet the growing needs for information in this sector as a result of the application of the EC Electricity Directive of 1996 about electricity market liberalisation.
