POWER CHOICES: Pathways to Carbon-Neutral Electricity in Europe by 2050, study for EURELECTRIC
EURELECTRIC’s Power Choices study uses the PRIMES energy model developed and run by E3MLab - also used by the European Commission for its energy scenario work – to examine scenarios to 2050. For this project, the model has been updated as regards macroeconomic and power-sector data and assumptions. Data on power plant technology and costs were provided by organisation VGB PowerTech.
