With its "Roadmap for moving to a competitive low carbon economy in 2050" the European Commission is looking at cost-efficient ways to make the European economy more climate-friendly and less energy-consuming. By 2050, Europe could cut most of its greenhouse gas emissions. Clean technologies are the future for Europe's economy.
E3M-Lab carried out the background modeling work for the impact assessment part of DG CLIMA Roadmap 2050.
