ACROPOLIS: Assessing Climate Response Options: Policy Simulations, Insights from using national and international models, for European Commission, DG Research
The Consortium, with this project, intends to focus on the following objectives:
- Bridge the communication gap between modellers and policy-makers;
- Address policy questions that are currently relevant to the main stakeholders, i.e. policymakers and their policy advisors, both at the regional or country level and at the global level.
- Investigate the role of different policies and measures in reducing GHG emissions and fostering deployment of more advanced and climate-friendly energy technologies.
