European Energy Scenarios to 2020, for the European Commission, DG XVII
An activity that is combined with the Green and White papers on energy policy prepared by the European Commission and the publication "European Energy to 2020 - A scenario approach" (special issue of "Energy in Europe", spring 1996, ISBN 92-827-5226-7 ).
E3M-Lab carried out the quantitative model-based analysis work for the EU member-states for all four scenarios by using the energy system planning and forecasting model MIDAS, which was developed in conjunction with DG XII. E3M-Lab participated in the design of scenarios and the writing of the final publication.
